I have always been fond of the Crane "golds" myself.

How about the CompCams ultra gold 1.72 rockers, or the Lunati Voodoo LS Series Adjustable Twin Shaft Rocker Arms, 1.7.
Will I be any better off with one of these other brands, or are the YT's still better?

I really don't want to run the stockers for to long, since they'll accelerate the wear on the bronze valve guides.

My 346 was running CC GOLD and now my 383 his running comp cam gold 1.72 .It rev and making power up to 7100 rpm. They are correctly setup(center wipe pattern and .050 preload on some morel )No valve float, fit under clearanced valve cover and bump my lift just a tad and keep it under .620.

Great price on the Voodoo rockers, but I still haven't made up my mind on rockers yet.

Thanks!

Well I decided to give the YT UltraLites another try since there's still a lot of people running them without any issues, and I can't find anything I like that doesn't cost twice as much, or seems like a step down over the YT's.

Did you contact Jim at Yella Terra and tell him of your concerns?

How much open valve spring force are you running?

YT's and Scorpions are junk. I've thrown enough broke YT/Scorpions in the scrap bins over the years.

Stock rockers are fine, and can be shimmed to work with aftermarket castings.

I sent a email to Mike at YT about 1 week ago, but no reply yet.

By PAC's spring rate calculator, about 411 lbs for my 1521's.
