LSA stands for lobe separation angle. Our most popular LSA choice for the MS3 camshaft is 112. Feel free to give me a call Id be happy to help you out with your setup.

Get on Youtube... there are hundreds of idle/WOT clips of LS1s with various camshafts so you can get a feel for what you want before you buy

Overlap is determined by LSA and the durations of the intake and exhaust lobes, so by itself an LSA might not really have a unique sound.

So a 114 lopes more than a 112?

If the cam in question has no overlap on either LSA then neither may lope. But lower LSA has more overlap, or less negative overlap.

If you are asking specifically in regards to an MS3, then on a 112 LSA it has 15.5* of overlap at 0.050" and on a 114 LSA it has 11.5* at 0.050".

It also depends on if you were to set the idle speeds the same as lope will disappear as you move the idle up.
