Default Trying to identify oil pump, part #12556436

Title says it. I have an oil pump marked with part number #12556436

I've searched around and found some posts that suggested this is a 2001+ lsx oil pump (supposedly they are all the same). I've also found posts that suggested the 2001+ oil pump had a different part number, #12586665. So which is it?

12556436 doesn't appear to be the right number (edit: see what Paul Bell says below).

but 12556434 was superceded by 12586665.

Listed as a LS6 pump. It's in the last line here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/3064659-post19.html

This was pulled out of a 5.3 engine. I recently found out that all the post 2001 pumps were the same so that would explain why it had the same part number as the ls6. Thanks for the input everyone.

Hey roadracer, normally I'd give you a big LS1tech welcome but you've been with us since '09 and your first post was today?
