Default Rocker arm torque

I need to know what the rocker arm bolts are supposed to be torqued down too? Thanks

i have heard 22ftlbs after you have the lifter preloaded and then torque to 22ft lbs

lube lower end of each p-rod and install in their original locations . lube the ends of valve stems, upper ends of p-rods and the rocker pivot bearings and install in their original locations leaving bolts loose . you'll need to tighten both rockers of the #1 cylinder just bsrely snug and rotate crank til #1 is at TDC and neither of the rockers or p-rods are moving . to be sure watch #1 rockers and p-rods when the crank is 180deg opposite TDC and while rotating crank clockwise looking from in front the intake valve will be closing , then continue around to TDC . then tighten intake rockers for #'s 1, 3, 4, and 5 and the exhaust rockers for #'s 1, 2, 7, and 8 to 22lb. ft. then rotate crank 1 full revolution and tighten intake rockers for #'s 2, 6, 7, and 8 and for exhaust rockers for #'s 3, 4, 5, and 6 again to 22lb. ft. Make sure to keep everything as clean as possible during this process and lube with new oil or better yet use an assembly lube such as Lucas engine assembly lube .

Ok thanks guys. Question i got everything back together and the engine ran fine for 10 mins. Then it started back firing all the plugs and wires are in the right order. Someone told me the rockers might meed to be adjusted slightly... someone help me because i dont know to much about this stuff and im learning as im going. My head gasket blee so thats why im doing this.

Well first of all You need to tell us as much information about how it ran before You tore into it to what exactly You did to repair it , did You install a different cam or head gaskets that are different than stock (thickness) , did You have the heads milled , did You put all the p-rods, lifters and rockers in the same location than You removed them from , is the check engine light on . The short answer is the rockers are non-adjustable and should'nt need any if You have'nt changed head gasket thickness or installed a different cam . You may have developed an intake leak ,,,,,,,,,,,problem is there are literally 100's of possibilities so the more info You can give us the better equipped We will be to at least point You in the right direction .

Everything same as stock. Fel pro gaskets it ran good before the blown head gasket after it ran like **** thats why i changed the gaskets. New spark plugs. Followed the firing order diagram when putting the wires back no ses light is on

Before the HG blew the ses light came on and went off occasionally. Now it is not on. Sorry bad grammer on smart phone.
