Oil dipstick bolt size
Thanks
Problem I had at the hardware stores was the bolt head itself. When I installed my LT's I found out I was missing a manifold bolt completely, and that the dipstick tube bolt wouldn't fit.
The header bolt is a m8x1.25 and a 30 length, but if you notice on the factory pieces at the tip of the bolt, the first 5 mm of thread is bare. A 30 is too long, and you'll need a 25.
For the dipstick tube bolt, instead of messing with it all over again, I just ground down the built-in flange on the bolt head itself and it worked like a charm.
I'm guessing you lost your though, so this doesn't help at all, huh?

The hardware stores have them, but the bolt head itself is bigger, that was my problem.
I would just post a wanted ad in the sale section and get a factory piece.
