Default Advice for my LQ4 swap into 54 Ford?

I've got a 100% stock LQ4 that i'm swapping into a 54 Ford (Long story)

This car will be mainly going slow & low but looking into swapping in a better cam just because i've heard the stock cam is kinda a turd & a cam swap in a 6.0L really wakes them up.

BUT! by no means i want this engine to sound race'y or lose any gas mileage if possible

I've got a set of 2002 LS1 corvette heads w/ LS6 intake just sitting on the bench but i'm planning on running the truck intake at this time just because i don't wanna switch out the water pump & accessories etc to make it fit.

Anyway, i just thought i'd ask if anyone would suggest a cam or anything else for my setup what should i look for?

hm, you should check into the dyno section for what people are getting from cams out of 6.0's.

your right tho, the cam in the car isn't a super high performance cam, but exactly how much are you looking for? power wise? the heads you have will flow better than the 241's you have, except the 241's would raise compression. as far as the intake, there isnt much difference in performance between the truck intake and the ls6 intake.
