There's a rather long thread in the "User Support and Resources" section about how all the (internal) attachments are being trashed by some vBulletin code error here on the board. External attachments seem to be unaffected. They're working on it...

Update 5th March 2012:

The engine assembly experienced a delay due to the following:

-Observed melling oil pump M295 is not sufficient to support the oil cooler (Estimated pressure drop is around 8 ~ 10 psig). It was recommended to install the 10355 melling oil pump that can support the oil cooler.

-Delayed order parts (order since more than one month) that are not yet up to now is recived.

The parts are not received till now are:
-Sandwich Adapter for the oil cooler.
-Oil Pressure gauge.
-Water Temperature gauge.
-Transmission oil gauge.
-GTO piping extension.
-Melling oil pump 10355.

However, other parts are received:
-GTO Pacesetter header 1 3/4" primaries with 3" collector.
-X-force cat back.
-Polyetheren bushings.
-O2 extension wires.
-AEM wideband gauge.
-Engine oil cooler (Tru-Cool, type: H7B, rated for
29,200 BTU).
-Slip on clamp for the extension pipe with the headers.

I hoping to receive the remaining part by next week, to start the assembly.

Update 11th March 2012:

Thanks god that I received some parts:
  • Sandwish adapter sized 13 13/16 with ports provision for the oil cooler and location ports for pressure sensors temperature sensor for the use with the gauges.
  • Water sender adapter 34mm.
  • Melling Oil Pump (Performance type 10355).
  • AEM wideband gauge along with sensor and wiring.
  • Slip-on clamps for the headers and extension pipes.
  • Trick Flow push rods 7.400".
The pending parts are:
  • Engine oil pressure gauge with sender unit and wiring.
  • Transmission oil temperature gauge with sender unit and wiring.
  • Water temperature gauge with sender unit and wiring.
  • Tripple Pillar pods left hand side.
  • Pacesetter extension pipes.
We discovered that the LS3 manifold port mating the throttel body is sized to 95mm inside diameter while the throttle body inside diameter is sized to 102mm. If manifold mating throttel body is port o 102mm dimension, the grove that is design to hold the sealing rubber will be opened and the seal rubber is not any more contained. To over come this issue, an plate adapter of 95mm to 102mm to be purshased, which hopfully will be secured by the 17th March 2012.

Re:cold air intake - blue filter.
Just a heads up, some of those blue air filters are cheap and do not flow real well.

The CAI is from CAPA and it is not cheap in their site. I hope it will perform well where it will be tested very soon to see it.

Greeting

06th April 2012 update:

Finally received the extension pipes and assembled with the headers and the catback on the car and finaly it is done.

The LS3 manifold assembled and found small problem that the 102mm throttle body and the extension plate for the throttel body do not fit properly due to the cooling water pump housing bolt obstructing the fitment. It is found later that GM have two kind of water pump, one that have the extended housing bolt and the other one do not have this obstruction housing bolt. I replaced the existing water pump with a new one that doesn't have the housing bolts, and things resolved.

The new water pump will be drilled at the housing in the discharge side and will be threaded to enable installation of the water temperature sensor. The tranmision temperature sensor will be fitted on the transmission A4 (4L60E). The Oil pressure sensor will be fitted on the sandwish adapter. The wideband sensor will be fitted later on the catback after the x-pipe.

Thanks...

The cat back installation is okay and from the first look, it will look to be very noisy. I will find it out this coming Wednesday.

(Note: Picture Quality is low, Sorry)
