So those are touched up CNC'd 225s ?? I thought you switched to the as
cast 220s to save a few $$$$$
They look awefully nice !!!! Really hope you meet your 500 goal !!!

Looks good man. What water pump are you running? Did you have any clearance between the W/P and T/B?

I noticed you are using stock rockers. Did TEA put the powdered metal guides in?

They are port matched 225's with powder metal guides and cut down ls3 valves... And I hope I make close to or over 500 rwhp... but as of right now id just like to drive it

WAIT!!!! Do not run the stock rockers on that head unless they changed the guides to The powdered metal type. It will destroy the brass guides.

Those TFS heads look great I'm looking at either just putting a cam in my 6.0 or maybe working the 317 heads a bit, how much were your 317's milled?

thanks, and i bought them from a member for like 950$ i think? dont really remember as its been a year or two

Yeah.. Was alittle disappointed but the car made 468/440.. With HEAVY tires on it, tuner said with my 15inch hoosiers it would have made 15-20 hp more because of rotating mass AND my camshaft is alittle too small, cam quits pulling about 6100 so ill be swapping cams in a few months. Car feels like a different animal because it picked up 15-30 ft lbs of torque through the whole rpm range and 10-20 hp through the whole rpm range. Overall im happy because Im now getting to drive it AND im having fun destroying my new toyo proxes

We those the same "HEAVY tires" that were on the car when it dyno'd 463/434 with the 317's?

With those new dyno numbers, it doesn't seem to make the use of the 102/102 and the 225's. I guess it's cam shopping for you.

No the tires I had were nitto 555r's and switched to toyo proxes.. Both being 315/35

Toyos ... 31# vs. Nittos .... 25# vs. Hoosiers .... 19-24# depending on size & type. I could be way wrong, but I don't see a big difference in rwhp just from a tire being 6 or 7#lighter. Maybe if you add to that the difference between a heavy chrome street wheel and an ultra light race wheel x2 there might be a measurable difference, then we could be talking about 50# total.

ill weigh the differences between my 15's and my 17's one day... but i know one 17 is a man to carry around

What kind and sizes are all of your wheels & tires? There are a few postings that list all the weights and you can get them from the manufacturers' web sites too.
