Looking for vendor or sponsor.... CNC work I'm looking for someone to give me a price to run a CNC port program on a set of iron 6.0 heads. Or if anyone is even willing to do it, should be the same for 317's or 243's. Really just need the ports done, chambers would not necessarily need to be done. We're trying to fit into some racing class rules, no aluminum heads allowed. Thanks.

Just to clarify, I would like my heads ported and would like to have a company with a proven record do them. I have talked to a couple of the bigger aftermarket companies that have CNC'd LS heads but they're not interested or require multiple sets to make it worth their while. I guess the main reason is that the tooling would have to be different for the iron head.

No, they don't have to, I just figured on a nice LS6-type of program that almost everyone seems to have, something that ends up in the 225-230cc intake runner range. I'm really thinking of calling Dr. J's to see if they've done any similar to what I need. This will really be a different kind of deal than most LS builders are used to, it's going to be carb'd (2-bbl, 500cfm) dirt circle track car with a high compression 408.

I kinda figured you were using them in a circle track application.
We are trying to get a package figured out for our local dirt track. mainly for the lower class. We are thinking about a 5.3 for that class.
I mentioned Bishoff because I have talked to them recently and I know the have a decent program for the LS heads.

I have no idea if they can or will do an iron head, you will likely have to have them hand ported.
