5.3L to 383 CID
I have seen on the internet where 5.3L blocks can be bored to LS1 size and with 6.20 rods & 4" crank it makes for a 383.
It would be nice to have a 11-12:1 CR with RHS or TFS heads(I hear LS3 heads don't work with 3.902 size bore) for use with E-85 & a N2O cam(112-116+LSA).
Anyone doing this here?

There are a LOT of people doing this and posting about it often (more often 6.125" rods instead of 6.200" though). What questions do you have about it?

This is what I'm currently building:
2004 LM7 block
3.903" bore
6.125" Scat I-beam rods
1.110" comp height, -3cc Wiseco pistons
4" crank, brand not yet decided
block deck machined to -.010 piston deck height
Target is 11.1 SCR
Here is a good read for you:

I was wondering if using an LS2 intake & ported LS6 intake as well as a LS6 cam on a 383(5.3L stroker) would perform well(but on a smaller budget)?

It would be very difficult to draw a hard line limit for static compression on pump gas. There are way too many variables involved: weather and climate, the rest of the engine combo, vehicle specs, application, etc. Many will draw a "soft" line around 11.5:1 static, which will allow for many to run pump gas, but definitely make sure your builder has the entire combo purpose built with pump gas in mind.

^^And that's why I said "soft" line Good air, later IVC points, good tuning, etc make that possible!
