To expect that is moronic. You won't find a single parts manufacturer that will reimburse you practically an entire engine due to one of their parts failing (even if they are at fault). Yella Terra (or any manufacturer for that matter) doesn't have control over what parts someone uses in their combination or how it is installed/set up. At the end of the day it's still a performance engine and things do happen.

I agree that no manufacturer can be expected to cover collateral damage. Aftermarket parts usually carry a specific warranty covering failures only of the part due to a flaw in the product.
260, where is it written by YT that the maximum spring is 400 pounds? If YT in fact states that, you would be considered in the wrong here. Just because "most" others have had better luck with spring rates beyond what the maker says it's good for, doesn't mean the product is good past what they are rated for.
That said, YT should have been much quicker getting you a replacement set of rockers.

No ****? Relax bro...I wasn't being serious. FFS
Either way, I would take the rockers they send and sell them. Fail me once, and that's it.

i personally called Yella Terra USA, told them the cam i was running, the springs i was running and they said that the 1.7 non adjustable ultra light rockers is what i was best recommended. i have a cam with .621 lift and run the PRC EHT springs with 483lb open pressure. i have put about 6000 miles on these rockers so far, no failures here.
now they were a little loud when i first slapped them on there, removed the shims and re checked valve lash, centered very nicely. i have never had a problem with them.

I ran these rockers on my H/C ls1 and later 403 for 20K and was very happy until.....#7 broke on the pushrod cup and #5 300 miles later... Now I am trying upgraded stockers on my bronze guide TFS heads.. at least if the guides give up I won't need a tow truck to get home... IIRC I believe open pressure was about 440 on the TEA gold springs..

it doesn't say that anywhere in writing but that was what i was told by the YT engineering team as the reason for failure...i agree it should be listed as a maximum spring psi in the specs

I had one of these break after 12k miles. it broke in the push rod seat. then 2k later another broke. it was the pair they warranted me that broke a gen!!! same pair cylinder but on the Exhaust valve instead of the intake valve. I thought I broke a connecting rod it sounded so bad. so now they told me to send the set back so i did . and I got a new set. i got them but there on my shelf. i did the comp Bering kit on the stock ones and put them on. i got three LS cars last one I am working on was thinking of using these but now I am not to sure.. they look like the same ones i had. and after seeing on here the hole Bering caged part snapping it seems they use cheep aluminum and that is that.. lost all faith in these.
