Default wanting 350-375 rwhp

i got a stock 02 ls1 out of a firbird im wanting 350-375 hp at the wheels
what upgrade would get me there on a stock block? cam upgrade? heads upgrade? lmk guys

some headers and a mild cam with a good tune will get you there easy. what kind of driveability are you looking for?

im wanting it to be a good daily/street and strip car! i dont really care about gas milage!
what size cam do u think would go good with stock 241 heads?

I'm going with the TSP 228r cam. For what you're wanting, it's plenty of cam for you. This is all considering that your car is m6, if it's an a4, a stall needs to be your priority.

224/228 is a good small cam. Call tsp they can help you out.

375 is not hard to get at all, you really dont even need a cam, bolt ons can get you there.

my intake, cutout, tune T/A made 338 to the wheels. al lyou would need is a set of longtubes good exhaust, intake, tune and maybe swap out for some 243 heads for cheep

i want a cam that is gonna sound a little lumpy!
the ls is going in my 240sx so i dont need that much power to be fast its a super light car

If it is an M6, I would start with bolt ons first and a tune.

Hahahahaha. I know your new and all but a m6 is a manual 6 speed. A4 is a auto 4 speed.

Try this combo, long tube headers, intake lid, and MA4 cam. I made 411rwhp with stock converter, LS1 intake manifold, through an A4. You have an LS1 from an 02 which means you have an LS6 intake manifold which is better than an LS1 intake manifold.

i dont have tranny yet but i will be going t56
i want to put the cam in since i have the engine on the stand......
whats the exact setup you guys would go?
241 or 243 heads? im gonna go with the ls6 intake cuz i have no intake at the moment!

op if your going to mod i would set your goal around 400, like everyone has said 350 ish is easy to hit with bolt ons, i would get some ported ls6 heads and a decent cam to match, you will be very happy

i would go with a better cam, ls6 cam is great if you thinking boost, honest it really depends on your budget, ifyou could get better heads n cam i would for sure go that route,prc heads are a great head for the price, match them with a decent cam and that will be a pretty stout car
