If I had it over to do I would choose another cam. I'm trying to find a tuner that can tune mine better and plan on changing my gears;because it bucks around 1500.

i got a really good deal on it , i wonder if anyone would be willing to trade like an ms3 111lsa or the g5x3 , im thinking thats more of what i would want, but then again i never use 6th gear except on the interstate, will the cam just be a slugs until about 2100rpms like the stats say, like will the car hardly move until then, new at this sorry for the retarded questions, just dont want to put the cam in and hate it and two weeks later take it back out

I ran the MS3 ( 113lsa ) for a while and like bww3588 said , these cams are turds below 3000 ! Actually 3500-3800 is where mine started pulling but it would really shine up to about 6800 ! Trying to cruze any less than 2000 is a little tough sometimes......

It would be fine to DD. My recommendation would be 4.10s as well... that cam is an easy DD with a stalled auto car but with an m6 it will want to buck around slow corners and etc. I had no problems with it having the cruise set at 75 in 6th with 4.10s, never bucked or surged.
It was also tuned by TSP.

NO IT CANT!!! how in the hell are you gonna get a nasty idle and maintain stock driveability more than this cam?? Overlap makes the chop, and overlap kills driveability...

That was the older LS1s that didn't like to spint very high. the 01-02 Fbodys and I'm sure your Z06 would be fine to 6800. Some people run the older engines to 6800 without trouble. The MS3 probably won't be much if any better on driveability than the MS4. If you want a nice chop and still keep it driver friendly something like a torquer 2 would be good. When I had my torquer 2 on a 112lsa it seemed to have more chop than what my MS4 does on a 111 but the idle is probably higher on the MS4 than the torquer was along with the extra compression. You have power to pull yourself around at the lower rpms with the Ms4 its just if you shove the gas down your not going anywhere very fast. At 3k ish you get alot more pull but mine seems to really wake up around 4500. With any decently sized cam your going to want gears though.

You can absolutely have a choppy cam with no driveability problems, you just have to pay for it. I DDd a 228/236 on a 110 but I had a 3600 stall and 3.73s drove better than stock. OP I would sell that cam fast, it is a max effort cam. A cam like a 226/230 on a 112 would be much better on the street with your gears.

Say goodbye to that good mpg and while you can get away with that cam bc you have a m6 u wont have that ls torque u are used to below 4 grand, u will have to scream the rpms to get the most out of that cam. Some people say a ms4 is streetable but that isnt what most of us would call streetable. Just bc u you CAN drive a 240/240 cam on the street dont make it streetable!

^^He's right. What you are used to and your driving habits will determine what is "streetable". I was running a '65 Plymouth Nostalgia Super Stock car on the street once in awhile with license plates. That car ran 9.80's when pushed and had a cam with 280+degrees of duration at .050!!
That monster roller makes the MS3 in my TA idle/drive like a pussycat
Living with a cammed car can be a give and take. If you don't mind driving it like it was meant to be where it's happy in the torque curve, you'll love it and it will become second nature. If you have a tendency to lug it like you can get away with an OEM cam, you will have some headaches.
I do have to give a shout out to CRT Performance in Ohio. They tuned this car prior to me buying it, and they did an awesome job on idle and part-throttle tip-in.
