Default pair of 241 heads value ?

came off an ls1 that came out of a boat (Malibu Corvette boat) 300 hours on them , curious on what the market is for low miles stock 241's , equivalent to 10-15 k miles (2800-3000 hours on my company trucks where I work happens at about 100K) rpm's are generally 2500-4k at most times in marine use with the occasional 5500-5800 max run ( pcm limited)

Yep 100 or so is fair. I have given away some for near free and received some for near free. They are just too common with nothing particularly special about them.

Yep they are only an upgrade if your motor has the crappy 806 or 853 heads on it, if the 241 were ported they would be worth about $300+ depending on who ported them

they arent an upgrade from the 806 heads...this is the 2nd thread i have seen you posting this bullshit in. its people like you that make other people beleive parts are inferior when they are infact not.

also, 853's and 241's are identical, the only difference in the 806 head and any other LS1 head is the 806 has a slightly larger combustion chamber, different casting method and peremiter bolt valve cover mounting. thats it. they all flow nearly identical, close enough if you swapped 806's for 241's you would notice 0 difference...period end of story.

thanks guys , I can get them for $100 local , I actually sold the guy the engine a couple years ago before I owned anything ls1 , it had tossed a rod and he bought it complete for $400 because he needed top end stuff to complete his build , I had bought it from my work at the time for $200 , dont know what else is left of the carcass either....these would/should be complete with valves ,springs ,valve covers also
