Default Cam Questions

Wondering what Cam would be the best bang for your buck. Installing new cam as a project wanted to really go with the MS4 but not quite sure about PV clearance. I'm using my stock heads off my Ls1 and was just trying to get a little info

Thanks

Need more info on car and goals. MS4 would be way to BIG imo for what I bet you are trying to do and want out of the car.

Well I would love to be in the 450rwhp but I want it to be street friendly but have the power. I'm leaving the stock heads right now. Was thinking of doing a new throttle body and intake but not sure whats the best bang for your buck

450 hp you need atleast fully worked ls6 heads or aftermarket casting and a decent size cam in the 230 duration. My opinion if you want something that has street manners dont go with the ms4. That cam is meant for higher rpms and on the street thats not what you what. You want lower and mid ranger for good street power and manners. Plus that cam will want to be turned to atleast 7000 rpms. Bigger is not better and its been proven on this forum and from real world encounters that i have experienced. Tsp has a bunch of great cams to choice from.Call tsp up they will be glad to help you out and are very easy to get along with. Good luck with everything

231/231 111 cam, a used FAST 90/92, LTs, all the basic bolt ons and it will shine for you.
