Default Pulling the trigger on heads, questions inside.

I've been looking at the PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 and the PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 heads. Is there much of a difference between the two?

Also, i'm wanting a 64cc or 62cc chamber (maybe smaller if i can get away with it) to bump the compression. Doing so will mean i'll need to change my pushrod length and possibly check PTV?

Depends a lot on the camshaft your running. Dont worry though, give us a call with what your specs are & we will mill & setup the heads to your specs!

Will do!

My cam is 228/235 .614/.621 111+2 It was spec'd for nitrous, made 381/365 but runs strong. I think some nice flowing heads will help this cam out quite a bit.

I ran the 5.3s on my motor with a cam similar to the tsunami and a FAST ad made 475 rwhp and 435 rwtq. Ive often wondered what some AFRs would have done but the numbers I got were awesome for the price of those heads.

Should my 7.425 pushrods work with the PRC 2.5 5.3 head with a 62-63 chamber? maybe 7.400? Picking up a lightly used pair from a friend.

If I had to GUESS, 7.400", but until you use the tool and measure it is just a guess.

Yea that's what I was thinking but I'm just going to order the tool to measure, they're cheap and it'd be worth it.
