Default 402?

i want to buy 6.0 block from tsp and was wondering what is the bore for a 402 is it just the 4.00 which is what i thought but wen i look at the 402 rotating assemblies on the tsp site it shows the bore as 4.010 so thats my confusion. also i was thinking l92 heads and ls3 intake but cant decide on the cam. there are so many good cams out there. prefferably a cam from tsp i like what i hear about there customer service so i wanna keep as many of my puchaces there as possible thanks.

I think a 402 is a 4.000" stroke crank and stock 4.000" bore. 408 would be 4.005" over bore... i think

Since 350 30 over is 355...a 4 inch stroke 6 liter with stock bore would be 402 bc 30 over is 408...same basic deal as the gen one just difference in decimals

With a 4" stroke and 4" bore ya got a 402. .005 over is 403. And .010 is a 404. So on and so forth. Really it's splitting **** hairs. You're not going to gain hardly, IF any power with 6 more cubes.

That's for sure...I would at least make sure you go .005 or .010 over just to get a good tight fit, piston to wall clearance wise

And ms3/4 would run good in a 402 bc those cubes eat up that duration and like it! Should still be driveable on the street bc you won't have to worry bout low end torque wit that big of cubic inches

yea that cam looks like a good for your motor...it is on the biggger side but it will still be bad *** especially if you pair it with some good 235cc port heads (or any good aftermarket head)

if your using the ls3/l92 topend your going to want a custom cam, that setup tends to like a diff grind to work well

cool ill look into that. i was just looking at the giant and it doesnt seem that insane. if any one on here has a stroker motor and has ran the giant can u give me some likes and dislikes about the cam. these are the specs so everyone can see Giant 248/254 .615"/.622" Camshaft

the square port LS type heads respone very well to wide split durations, especially for NA applications, try this one:
