Pushrod wear
Pushrod wear I had 3 like this that came out when I had the Top End done. The car ran great and made no noise at the time. As far as I know the lifters were OK.

Not sure if you know the orientation of these pushrods. Do you know what number cylinders and whether intake/exhaust side. Are the rods from just one head or the other?
You mentioned that the lifters look good, so perhaps these ends fit the rockers. Otherwise, it would be good to check all of the rockers for associated wear.
Is that some worn metal material on the side of the rod on the right?

The rockers were fine, it must be where they were in the lifters I did not get those back from my builder. It just seems strange that the ends were worn to a rough machined type state and the engine ran great and no loud ticks. I've never seen anything quite like this have any of you? I put one into the photo with the regular chrome looking end just to show the comparison.

I think this means that the photo upload had not been captured. Or, the photo was captured, then somehow erased.
Otherwise, I've been able to view the photo each time after the initial try.
Bringing this back because I tore into my L33 and found a few that looked the same way. They are worn on the rocker end and are worn shorter than the others The associated rocker cups look the same. Do I need new rockers now?
I'm guessing this is from a lack of adequate oil? Maybe a clogged lifter?

I had the same issue with an all original ls1, with 83k on the clock. The car was dealer maintained ( 7500 mile oil changes). I replaced all the rockers and pushrods, engine was quiet for a while, but the piston slap was just too much for me so I swapped out the LS1 for an LQ4. If I had to guess, I would say it was lack of oiling.
I think lack of oil is the culprit. Easy things first. Check the pushrod holes for clogging. If the pushrods are OK and your oil pressure it good, than I would suspect lifters since they pump the oil to the rockers. I would examine all very closely and I would replace the pushrods and mating rocker.
Unfortunately I haven't run the engine since I bought it. There are no other signs of anything wrong with it internally and it looks like it was maintained fairly well.
The pushrods are all clear internally and the valve tips look good too. It's just excessive wear on the rockers and pushrod tips.
After searching around a bit I have found plenty of others who are reporting this condition but no real conclusions.
I'm torn as to weather I should tear into the motor and replace all the lifters and "freshen" the whole thing up, or replace the pushrods and rockers and run the thing.
Anyone else with this issue resolve it one way of another?

I may be remembering things wrong but I seem to recall an issue with where the pushrods were contacting the hole in the top of the head and they were scrubbing on the pushrod cups (can't recall exactly which motor). Try a search on that and see if anything turns up. This was a factory issue as I remember and several had run into it. Do you have any evidence of pushrod contact along its length?
Saw the same issue on an 08 Yukon 5.3 that we were replacing a bad DOD lifter on.
Diff cylinder than the failed lifter.
Had one the same on my L33 as mentioned.
Just cheap parts I think. Sometimes they fail.
