Question Reslevee a 6.0 iron block ????

Hello guys. Ok i have a friend that have a 6.0L block in his WS6 TA the block is already .030 over bore with Diamond pistons and Compstar 6.125 rods. Now last week a bolt went into his motor and you know the story #7 piston gone.Today i went to see the damage and at the beginning it looks like only the piston and head are only damaged but i saw that the cylinder wall has a scratch of like 1 inch long. Ok here were i need your input. My friend want to sell his TA and i have a LQ9 that i going to use in my Camaro and offer me a trade of his motor for mine and i fit it. I not want to spend in buy a .060 over set of pistons plus machine work. Can i buy a factory sleeve go to a machine shop just re sleeve the #7 cylinder with a factory sleeve and bore it .030 ove to buy just one piston? It woth it or not? Please any input going to be appreciated.
Thanks

Iron blocks don't have sleeves from the factory but that doesn't mean you can't bore the cylinder & install one.

Seems like it would be way cheaper to just pick up another iron block and have it bored .030" over.
