cam advice
I would also get and install a set of aftermarket rod bolts anytime you cam a car and plan on spinning it any higher that stock red line. Do you have to? No, but do you really want to risk your whole motor on stock rod bolts...I'll recomend Katech bolts (cheap insurance)
The rod bolts are my opinion, and just for you info when I install a camshaft in an ls motor I ALWAYS upgrade the rod bolts and will not do a can swap if the person doesn't do rod bolts too..... No, I don't do this just to make more money on a job, and I've never had to turn a cam swap away because the customers understand the importance of cheap insurance.......in my shop for the rod bolt install I charge a 30 pack of Keystone lite, then you have to help me drink it
