yes - but until now I would have guessed the hand etchings as fakes!
All my Comp, Crane, Ultradyne etc. cams from older Pontiacs had stampings of either a grind number to call in or the basic lobe/lca numbers with an H or S for hydrualic or solid lifters at the end...

Yes, all of these cams have 4 degrees of advance ground in.

where do i check to see if i truly got a B1 cam, i bought used with 1000k mikes and no cam card. How do solidify that this is a B1 cam and not anything bigger

get the numbers from the end of the cam and contact the manufacturer.
All our cams in this post are TR so Jason at TR could get the info...

I too have a TR224 I'll be installing when my heads are completed.
It is a low mileage item with p/n R7972 on the end.
I'd like to know for sure what I got.
