I heard that that is common. I have a BBK 80mm now and it had to be drilled and no issues with idel. I have a 244 612. Good luck.

My car idles fine, but its set at 950. Did you turn your idle up when you tuned it? If you drill it out, start very small and work your way up.

I idle @ 675-700 hot or cold , on start up car will hunt one cycle only 500-1000 then stop at steady idle, drilled to .209 set ve table 400 multiply x 70, 800 x 80, 1200 x 90 , ONLY problem is a little jerk/snap @ 36-41 mph cruseing speed only after TC locks up and slow down to cruse 36-41 ( thanks to help from Glen - now working on this )
If you have EDIT I will send you my file and you may find some help therein
PM if I may help
