Twin clutches are more user friendly than puks that's for sure.
Mine is a rebuilt Extreme...it's been changed from the sprung center to solid & clamp pressure was increased to 4200lb.
Auto clutches in Morningside Auck.
I also have a new clutch ready for whenever the need arises, also solid centered. I bought from NZAD off TradeMe to the specs I wanted. I believe it is a RPM

Be sure you have the cable in the lowest setting on the throttle body cam.
You can also ajust the slack somethere in the middle of the cable... I'm not sure what you call it, but it looks like the plastic sleeve "comes together" if that makes any sense. That's where you can adjust it in or out at.

Good to catch up with you at the drags on the 27th January. Ended up in the final of Super Street but broke out in the end. Dialled in 11.74 and ran a 11.68!!!! Thats racing.
How are you getting on with the ute? When I was talking to you you were hoping to get it on the dyno etc with the 102 Fast manifold etc. Looking forward to see what the outcome was.

Likewise mate, was good to catch up! your ute was moving out for sure! great result with running 11.68, which i remember you saying you thought it could run so well done, my ute is coming along nicely, we have just finished installing the new fuel setup and fabricated a new exhaust for it, so all going well it will be strapped on the dyno end of week for a tune, gonna get myself some weld pro stars and M/T's next, when are you up next racing?
I see you are going M/T. Are you going ET street radials or ET Street (bias ply) ? I use both and found the bias ply to be more consistant but Radial has produced my best time/speed to date 11.61 @118.52 mph but much harder to tune in.
I found the best value for money and free delivery is Hoosier Quick Time Pros via Cardwells. At Ruapuna I have run 11.68, and heaps sub 12sec runs with them.

Was going to be up on the 10th of March but that has been cancelled due to the car club having the V8 supertourers on that weekend so most probably won't be up until the next meet (last of the year) which is 14th April. You will have to have a run that day.

VERY soon Blu, we fired it into life last night after a looong while of upgrading fuel systems, exhaust systems, fabricating new alloy radiator to fit bigger air intake etc, it kind of snowballed a wee bit as these things tend to do, but it does sound very staunch lol, pulled it out the front of the workshop and all the neibours came out to see what the noise was, its going on the dyno early next week, hanging to see what it pumps out and more importantly how it hoses the tyres

Alright, got the tune done, made 416 to the wheels with more left in it but we ran out of dyno time, it was still making power when the rev limiter was kicking in at 6800, so 42 wheel hp up from last time, was a bitch to get to idle with the 102 but well worth the effort, its farking loose on street tires, couple of pics

Cheers Blu, its been a mission, but well worth it, still more to go in the tune too, but will wait till after the drags this weekend before it goes back on the rollers again, this will be the last meet for the summer period where the track is prepped with VHT and the last chance to get out and have a bit of a shake down and a play before the weather starts to turn to rubbish, over winter will prob pull the engine and look at doing some more upgrading anyways as Tony has some sweet **** brewing for the bottom end as we speak so will be an opportune time to get it under way
