Hello fellow lax builders i'm going to be running the tsp 5.3 stage 2.5 heads, +12 cc dome wiseco pistons, eagle rods with 2000 series bolts, fast 102 intake and throttle body, and 1 3/4 headers , dual 3" to 4" oval straight . also using shaft mount rockers and tsp .700 lift springs . My question is what cam would give me the best power between 3k- 8k i wanna make around 500 whp and 440-450 trq and if possible i want to run a hydraulic lifter .
this is a drift car so i don't need low end torque i just need a big top end power band . will be tuned on e85

You don't need 13 to 1 to hit 500. If you cam it right to match the heads and cylinder pressures I think you can easily hit 550 plus and 500 torque.
I would get on the horn with Texas speed and talk to john or Jason. They may end up suggesting a custom cam.
Also, if you plan to turn it to 8k and already have shaft mounted adjustable rockers, I would step up to solid link bar lifters. Hydraulic lifters won't live long sustained at 6k plus rpm that drifting entails.

He's not going to get 500 torque with a stock displacement ls1. 13.5.1 will sounds baddass though. I would contact futral, EPS or the like and get a custom cam to match the high compression.
