Default Cammed CETA Video

My weekend project is done for now. Went with a TSP 228R on a 110LSA. The 110 gives it a little more chop than you would expect from such a small cam. I am still untuned as of now until I install my convertor (hopefully next weekend). After getting it to idle, it actually drives OK for a untuned auto with no convertor, the cam really comes in low with the 110LSA, and only really surges minimally. I am really interested to see what kind of drivability it will have tuned and stalled. I think good!

Supporting mods are minimal, BBK Lts, O/R Y, SLP LM1, SLP Lid, SLP 85MM MAF, SLP Smooth Bellows and thats about it.

Here's the vid.........

I have the same cam on 112 lsa. Sounds good on the 110 lsa. Frost was shocked when I told him I was able to drive it on the stock tune and conveter.

He told me he has done this cam a ton of times. Ive had his tune on for little over a year now running great.

I put it on a local dyno day. I made 382hp with his tune and a major hole in my header making my Air intake temps sky high.

Just make sure you set your throttle screw right when you get the tune back. He mails you insuctions on how to do it when you get your pcm back.

I had to mess with the throttle screw already, at first it was idling at like 650. Would die as soon as you put it in gear. I got it idling about 750-800, it drops down when in gear and AC on but still stays running. I tried just barely adjusting it cause i know thats kinda the wrong way to go about it. I may pm him tonight about a tune

Its better then drilling major holes in the throttle blade like some do.

And for the stall, I went with a 4100 remax. A little over kill for this size cam but its a blast to drive

Sounds good. Frost does a great job of tuning. He has tuned every one of my cars. Just a heads up for you he hasnt been on here in months. He stays really busy. If you need to get ahold of him send him an email on his website. There is a link in my signature.

3600 Yank, and from driving it with the stock stall a little bit, I think that will be optimum. It actually drives OK with the stock stall, you gotta mash the brakes a bit, but not too terribly bad, but that will get old fast. I was going to do 4K, but I think 3600 will work fine as long as I don't up-size the cam

Great lookin t/a, sounds great also and I agree that a 3600 will work great but imo go 4k only a little looser and better all around trust me you'll want to go bigger do it now and save yourself the trouble an ud pulley would make you full boltons and is worth .10/1mph at the track!!!

Hmm not sure the throttle set screw trick will help you lower the idle but you can take a shot, maybe yours was preset higher than mine. The set screw is on the left side of the throttle body (facing engine) right on the bottom of the stop with the cable ends attached. You can see it from underneath. You will need a 7/32 allen wrench.
