Default Please help me with cam choice!!

I have a 2002 Camaro with full bolt ons (p&p TB, TSP 1 7/8 Headers, ORY, Corsa Catback, SLP Lid, and SS3600 stall) I am wanting to hit the 400rwhp mark or more with cam only change. This is not a daily driver, but I drive it 3-4 times a week. What cam do you guys recommend?? I want something with a nice power curve and not just a peak number, so keep that in mind. I need you guys to give me cam specs: duration/lift on what LSA too.

Also, what company do you recommend I get the cam from.

Thanks for the input!

If you do a search you will find 5000000000000000 threads with the same question as your own.

Most of the searches that I found were of guys with a M6.. Most of the questions asked in this section of the forum ARE ONES THAT HAVE BEEN ASKED BEFORE... Instead of wasting your time writing that ^, why not give a VALID input?

baxsom: thank you for your input!

There must be some guys on here that wouldn't mind guiding me in the right direction??

Have you looked through the cam only dyno thread? Lots of info there but my best recommendation is to call some shops. I called TSP before I bought my torquer v2, they were helpful and spot on with the power it would make. Good luck in your search!

M6, thats why I didnt say much more, dont know much about stall vs cam choice. 378 rwhp on a 2wd mustang, 369 on awd mustang, 12.46 @ 113 with a 2.0 60 ft. There is a local guy here with this cam but much more mods (heads, FAST, stall, n2o, rear, dr's) and I think he's mid 11's n/a, and high 10's on spray.

I would run the TSP Torquer 2 232/234. That will match up great with your SS3600. Good size for a daily driver.

Not sure why everyone always says Torquer V2 when the Torquer V3 is a better option. It will make more under the curve power as well as peak power. The Torquer V3 should get you very close to your goals.

Because the high lift scares everyone away. I would go with the V3.

Now when you say 112+3 lsa, is the +3 already ground into the cam or do i have to advance it 3* manually?

EPS/LXL 230/230 or 234 111+2

The best all around, do everything "quiet" cam.
