Recommend Me a single roller timing set.......
Getting ready to upgrade the timing set on my 150,000m LQ9, don't like what i've heard about the Ls2 chain. So whats another option...single roller for under a 100$

I have seen LS2 chains break in the corvettes. If you want a better chain consider the Katech C5R chain. They cost 3x more but whats the big deal with $150 if you gotta tear the engine apart again, and worse case scenario your engine is toast because the chain broke and you bend lots of valves and maybe even worse.

ASP's older stuff with the rubber center section did have issues with pulleys coming apart and/or breaking the chain. Their newer design does not have a rubber center (AFAIK) and have no issues. I exclusively use ASP (if available) and don't have any issues.
To the OP, an LS2 chain will suffice for most street setups. If you want something a little beefier the C5R chain is a good option.

Thanks for the correction and update. I'll still stick w/ ATI, though.
