Default LM7 cam to a LS6 Cam question

I have a simple question that I can’t seem to get the same answer too.
I want to put a new cam in my 2003 LM7, I’d like to put in a LS6 cam.

I plan on switching the valve springs to a stronger hold, due to the fact that I plan on putting on a turbo at some point.

So here is the ultimate question:
Can I just swap in LS6 valve springs on my LM7 heads for approx $60 from GM and use existing hardware from my LM7 heads etc?, or do I have to replace the entire spring assembly? If so then it seems just as economical to buy a kit from Patriot etc for like $300...?

I’d like to just swap out the springs and seals and call it good to save some money…
Also with the LS6 cam, I assume I have to swap out the push rods? What length? I have not milled my heads, and plan on using stock GM head gaskets.

Thanks for your feedback if you have time.

Yes, LS6 springs will work. Pushrods have to be longer. Not sure on lenght. I recommend you buy a pr length checker to be sure.
