I think you should stay with a smaller cam. Driveability, tuning, powerband, valvetrain life are all just a bit better. The touquer cams arent going to make very much more power, and its going to be high up where you will rarely use it.

My power band holds until 7k. I haven't tried any higher since I haven't replaced any rod bolts. I am pretty limited by my exhaust though. :-(

The car is certainly not a slouch off idle in 1st. I find in autox on a very small course 35-45 sec long that I spend almost all of my time in 2nd.
