Im going to find out in person what the reason was. I know the PR length was a big jump but is is possible if the preload was right that no damage could have been done??

There is no way that your lifters were preloaded correctly before hand. If they were preloaded correctly before they never would have changed PR length in the first place.

Dyno numbers dont mean much my friend. I can pull a high 11 with numbers that are laughable. go to the track when the valve issues are gone.

Just got my car back. Kooks true dual system sounds badass! Polly MM and TM has a bit more shake then stock but no more exhaust pipe on the floorboard. Car sounds way better then before. I need to get a new scanner to put up the dyno graphs, mine just fell off the shelf and broke, lol. Car layed down 453rwhp with almost the exact TQ as last time of 396 with no valve float. Now its time to go buy some drag radials! 1st and 2nd are useless with 4:10's with my shitty BF goodrich kdw's

I'm interested to see this as well. Glad they finally got everything going smoothly, but they dropped the ball on that first attempt, and could have caused a lot of issues for the OP.

I'm not very impressed with a shop that does not measure push rods correctly on a simple H/C installation......There is no excuse for that kind of **** poor work to say the least..

The owner straight up told me that the guy that worked on my car did not measure. Since they bought the kit from TSP as a package the 7.450s come standard for some reason he just thought they would work properly. All in all he said he was sorry and that he always checks for correct lenght, guess I was just the unlucky one. I got new valves put in along with the 7.525s rods at no charge. Cured the float and runs like a rapped ape. Debating on going back for more work later on (shortblock / procharger ) Anyone know of any "good" shops in the San Antonio area? At this point im willing to drive anywhere in texas for peace of mind. LS7 clutch seems to hold all the new power.....so far. Just took a vid of the car at idle to hear the new exhaust setup!

Anyone know a good tuner in south Texas area? Having some bad tuning issues. Stalling, idle hang, braking with left foot while I'm giving it gas to keep it running.

Personally, I wouldn't fork out another dollar..tell the shop your issues that you're having. So far they're 0-2. They should fix it at no cost.

This is understandable. Just an idea; take detailed notes of the car's issues, call the shop, talk to the owner and tell him all the issues in complete detail just to see what he has to say. Then make decision(s) and go from there...??

If you decide to not spend any more $$ with this shop. (I sure as hell wouldn't) Why don't you call Texas Speed. Great shop that has been doing it right for many years with a great reputation and great customer service.

Default fuel pump

Has the stock fuel pump been replaced with a bigger one? If not, then you need one. If its the problem now or not, that engine needs a higher flowing pump. Like an Aeromotive stealth 340 or Racetronix 255, something of that nature. And of course the hotwire kit.

Its the stock fuel pump. I only had problems with idle stalling and low rpm driving. Thats why I thought it was tune related. I want a pump thats good for 800rwhp all day everday with no problem (F1 / 383 stroker in the future). Something thats not crazy loud either....any suggestions

My suggestion- get a pump that will suit your needs with the setup you have for now. Heck, all you need is a $160 pump and a $45 hotwire kit. Because you'll need a different fuel setup later on with a stroker motor and supercharger anyway. So why bother?
