The carbed intake looks very good. Pretty nice piece. I saw the whole carb/distributor conversion at PRI. I'm glad someone finally found a use for Ford parts.

Who ground your cam?

I'll let you know how the LSX turns out. I'll prob do a trial between the LS6 and LSX when I get bored.
