just siphon the gas like mentioned. if you do it the way your thinking you will
burn your pump up if it runs to long. its not hard to siphon the gas and you can get most of the gas out then fill with fresh.

is there a rubber tube on these car that connects the gas tank to the filler neck that i can disconnect to put a line down in there ?

im really hoping to avoid dropping the tank
btw it has a 1/4 tank in it

if i take the filter off, can i hook up a pump there to pull the gas out ? or will the in take pump stop it ?

I would at least spray some fogging oil into the spark plug holes that way cylinders are lubed up good...
