Default N/A build hows it look so far

so a friend came to me to build a N/A ls1 for his ls swap, and looking for some advice on what ive drawn together so far. he doesnt care about making a 500rwhp n/a monster just something with nice power and torque for the street with enough to show the "young kids with their dam hondas" as he puts it lol in there place if need be. heres what i got so far feel free to critique my build and add/remove items. btw car needs to be pump gas for 93 octane, but with higher comp ratio for more hp and tq

random tech CAI
FAST 102 intake with 102 TB
texas speed stage 2.5 ls6 heads with 64cc chambers, 2.02 intake 1.57 exhaust
texas speed 228/228 .588 .588 112 LSA
GM ls7 lifters
PAC .650 lift beehive valve springs
7.4 chromemoly rods
yella terra 1.7 rockers
melling high volume pump
factory crank
ls2 timing chain
edlebrock ported water pump
ATI underdrive pulley
1 7/8 long tube headers

what i havent figured out is the pistons. knowing little about them i dont want to choose incorrectly and have piston to valve problems. i know little of the dished vs dome vs flat and cc's. so considering the above build is decent what piston type and cc would yall recommend for his motor? and im concerned the texas speed ls6 heads wont provide a decent power boost over stock or am i incorrect? also would stock lb injectors be good for this build or something bigger like 32lb be better off? thanks for any help

You'll likely need larger injectors, and you should have well over 400 rwhp. Cam seems a little small but meh.

Looks like a very fun, streetable setup for someone. You will want to consider a set of injectors and possibly swapping that high volume pump out for a high pressure unit depending on what your pan capacity is. BTW the PRC 2.5 LS6 cylinder heads will offer a very nice gain over stock. Ive seen customers pick up in excess of 45 rwhp with our 2.5 cylinder heads over the stock LS1 cylinder heads. You are probably going to wind up choosing a piston with a relief in the neighborhood of -2cc to -4cc which will allow for tons of PTV clearance with this combo, and plenty of room for us to mill the cylinder heads down to gain us the compression back when building a stock stroke setup. Feel free to give me a call I would be happy to help you out with the setup.

cam was selected based on street driving, and the possibility that this swapped car may become his dd for a time.

will be the auto 4l60e tranny, might throw in a 2800 stall or something as well.

thank you and will call when i start ordering his parts. from the sounds of things looks like i got a nice setup together with the exception of bigger injectors. far as the oil pump ill look into it, have to find a pan that fits. its a 74 vette similar to mine.

Musclecar pan gives a lot of clearance, or the fbody pan which is shallower yet

well im not trying to kill his gas mpg as well because theres a chance it may be dd for some time

far as stall goes ill probably bump it up to a 3000 so he can get the full benefit of the cam choice instead of having an a4 car that will bog out.
