my buddy anthony's car...basically blueprinted by rob and me, with an EPS cam...I would have picked one slightly bigger to get that 500RWHP lol but I am a track rat and this is a street car... ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
Look at how flat the hp curve is up top...ls3 valves and easy eps lopes
Could seriously pull this motor to 8K with some rod bolts and alumin intake...![Angel](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_angel.gif)

You and only you can tell this.
Ask yourself, is $1000 worth the 30rwhp gain you will be getting?
The problem with "is it worth it" questions is that can vary, some people will think it's laughable to spend a grand and only get 30hp. To some people, a grand spent to gain 30hp is a helluva deal.

I think with a well ported/milled set of 243s he may see more than 30RWHP...

I'm interested on the gains that can be had moving to a lightweight LS3 valve as well. I recently aquired a set of stage 2.5 TEA 243's with the big 2.055 intake and 1.575 exhaust valves. I"m pretty sure they're a stainless valve right now. Would it be worth it to move to a turned down LS3 valve? If so, why?
