Default LS1 450-470 flywheel hp

Hello everyone,
I plan on building a LS1 engine for reliabilty/speed. What would I somewhat need to reach 450-470 flywheel hp N/A? Cam, intake, exhaust, headers, beefier transmission? What about for a supercharger? forged internals? Do I have to switch the rear end, timing chain cooling system? Keep in mind I want this car to last and it will be my DD. Also, not too loud(hate the drone) if possible. Any upgraded springs, lifters, pushrods? Would it be better just to put a brand spankin new engine already rated at 450 hp?

Sorry for the noob questions but I want to do this project for my satisfaction. I have worked countless times on my old v6 camaro and plan to buy a z28 soon. My dad has 35 mechanic years.
Thanks

You gotta remember, ls1 cars typically make around 300+ to the tires stock, so to achieve your goal you need to make around 390 or so at the tire...that means a decent sized cam around the high 220's to 230's duration will get you thete with full bolt ons and a good tune. Its very easily done with these cars and still be reliable. With a vam you'll need pushrods and valve spring kit, and depending on mileage you may want to do an oil pump and timing chain while you are in there. Long tube headers are better everywhere over shorties which are not worth the money and effort to use. A good catback, not flowjunkster, is gonna be necessary as well. Or a cutout, but you said not loud so that's optinal.

Also depending on how deep your pockets are a good set of heads with a mild cam would easily make what you are looking for and keep it more street friendly than just a cam

FWIW I'm at about 515 crank, 432 RWHP. SLP LTs, SvedeSpeed OTRCAI (GTO), MAFless, NW 102 TB, FAST 102 manifold, Flowtech Inductions Street Sweeper HT cam, 243 heads milled .025 with CNC'd ports, Ford 42# greentop injectors, !cats and 2.5" exhaust with X pipe and Borla Pro XS mufflers. The car is quiet at cruise with just a pleasant sound and smooth yet aggressive sounding at WOT.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. Would installing a cam make that lopey sound at idle? I know most people like it but I am not one of them...unless it is on a 68 camaro or something I was looking at the LS3 engines as well, a lot pricier(jegs) but it came with 480 hp. It was about 8 grand. Would it be easier/cheaper to buy a ls3 and be done with it?
Remember, I want quiet as possible as the wife hates the drone/rough idle.

Car drives like stock after a good tune.

you mite need a fast 102 intake with a 92mm TB,a ls6 is 10 hp less .look at a TSP 228r cam kit at 112 lsa .get some 1 3/4 long tube header and do a good Y-pipe with 3.5 I pipe to a magnuflow muffler.get a ls2 timing chain.check Texas Speed for parts .you will need a 3500+rpm stall converter.a freshened up trans would be nice.get a tranny cooler.just a starting point for you think about .
