LS1 450-470 flywheel hp
I plan on building a LS1 engine for reliabilty/speed. What would I somewhat need to reach 450-470 flywheel hp N/A? Cam, intake, exhaust, headers, beefier transmission? What about for a supercharger? forged internals? Do I have to switch the rear end, timing chain cooling system? Keep in mind I want this car to last and it will be my DD. Also, not too loud(hate the drone) if possible. Any upgraded springs, lifters, pushrods? Would it be better just to put a brand spankin new engine already rated at 450 hp?
Sorry for the noob questions but I want to do this project for my satisfaction. I have worked countless times on my old v6 camaro and plan to buy a z28 soon. My dad has 35 mechanic years.
Thanks
I was looking at the LS3 engines as well, a lot pricier(jegs) but it came with 480 hp. It was about 8 grand. Would it be easier/cheaper to buy a ls3 and be done with it?Remember, I want quiet as possible as the wife hates the drone/rough idle.

Car drives like stock after a good tune.
