Just the normal stuff brakes, tires, oil change, shocks and struts. Last year I did a Top End rebuild of the stuff i have listed in my sig. only because i was worried about all the miles I had on it. I need a steering Rack because mine leaks a little. Over all it's been one of the Best cars i've ever owned.

Yea mine is a 98 with an ls6 non ported pump...the general rule is as long as you got 10 psi of oil pressure for every 1000 rpm your bearings will be fine...I beat my cars *** at the strip too it's always been the same pressure even with the original 98 pump which is a first design so it is the least desirable, only reason I changed it is because I was doing a cam swap and figured what the hell...I am also building a 2005 5.3 a guy sold me for cheap bc it had low oil pressure, he had to raise his idle to 1000 rpm to get the correct oil pressure and when I tore the motor apart and looked inside the oil pump you could see the machined surface was wiped out behind the rotor of the oil pump....melling m295 is a good stock replacement just like the ls6....unless I was building a race motor spinning 7k rpm I would buy a high pressure/volume oil pump but that's just me, I don't buy parts unless there is a need for them bc I ain't got the cash to just buy the best Of everything "just because" I can...

Unfortunately only about 40 cold, 18-20 hot 116k but I'm pretty sure it's the o-ring because it bounces around at idle a bit like it's sucking air. Btw new OPSU.

We have the exact same problem..I will be swapping out oil filter since the one that's currently on its all damaged dented on the sides. I believe that made my oil pressure lower it was higher when It still had the old oil an stock opsu.I bought a new opsu and Changed the oil then I wasn't carefull and damaged the oil filter. ima change the oil an filter again, probly go 10w40 since i read it rises the preasure .if that dosent solve I will return he opsu and install a new one ,it's is the same it's time to swap oil pumps.ill be usin a tsp ls6 ported

mine bounced at idle after the cam swap....i put in a regular LS6 pump and it would bounce between 22-28 psi warm with 5w30 M1.....i changed to 10w40 M1 and it's smooth as it could be now, warm idle around 35

Yeah thanks a lot, It's time for an oil change for me also so I'll probably be putting in 10w40 and a Wix truck filter.

Here's the truck filter #51522. From what I've read, it has better filtering characteristics and better oil cooling. And yes it is longer.
