torquer v3 cam
so my question is what are supporting mods for a torquer v3 cam?
i know i need heads so will trick flow 215s do and do i need push rods? oil pump?
If you are looking to maximize potential then you will want an intake manifold/tb and headers/exhaust as well..
But now that you've added all this amazing power, you will want to upgrade the fuel system to match.. injectors at a minimum and a fuel pump as well to be safe..
You could even go as far as saying that gears and a stall converter are a must to supprt a v3 cam setup
During a cam/head swap most people upgrade the oil pump as well
and of course the most important part.. A TUNE!
it may seem like a lot but you gotta pay to play and you will be more than satisfied with the results
or should i just take this step by step and upgrade 1 at a time?

If you're set on getting a cam (maybe you want the lope or maybe you have another reason) then you might want to look at something in the 224/224 range. Cams in this range are great for daily driving and don't require much valvetrain upgrades. There are a million cam choices out there for different purposes and doing some searching on this site will get you the answers you are looking for. My suggestion is to do bolt-ons first and enjoy the power while you save up for a reliable build. Do it right the first time and don't cheap out or cut corners.

head over to LS1howto.com and look at the article for ls1 cam swap (also look at cam and head swap if you still want to upgrade the heads). This will give you an idea of what youre gonna be looking at work wise. texas-speed as well as many other sponsors sell gasket and bolt kits for cam and head swaps.
If you have any other questions I would suggest hitting up the search because most everything you want to know has already been asked and answered on this site.
I actually replaced a Torquer V3 in my Corvette a few weeks ago with a custom cam from Bullet Racing cams spec'd by Fast Motorsports. My custom cam is much smoother, keeps better valvetrain stability at high rpm's, has less aggressive lobes, will increase the life of the valvetrain, has less duration, less intake lift, has better street manners and made more torque & power then the Torquer V3 cam.
And Trick Flow 215's are an awesome set of heads by the way.
