A TSP 228/228, or a 228/232 would work great, and a 3200-3600 stall.
The largest cam I'd go with would be a 232/234.

228/232 would be a great cam.... use a xer intake lobe and a xe exhaust lobe.....great cam and they make good power

v3 here...works great with a 3600 too. No need for anything bigger than a 3600 unless you're going to the track more often IMO. I mainly cruise, only see the track about 3-4 times a year. No regrets on my set up.

I've got a 226/230 114+4 that would make a great DD cam and go with the heads you plan on buying in the future.

3600 stall with 3.73's would be a really nice set-up.

FYI, my 4000 stall drove just as easy as my 3200. Circle D 5c btw.. I was iffy on that big of a stall, but i will take a 4000 stall anyday over a 3200, 3600.. I have personal experience with one. A 3800 will be perfect for a daily driver setup.

My car was also just a fun street car, light to light, daily driver. No problems at all. My old X1 cam, reverse split, 3.73, and 4k stall woke up big time. It pulled vicious up top than it did with a 3200 stall. More fun to drive.

4k might be too big of a stall, but its not. Thats why i suggested a 3800.

I would like to see most everyone use a slightly bigger stall than they were planning on. It only helps numbers at the track which sooner or later they will care a lot about a and making the car feel faster.

When they begin to worry about less fuel mileage and drivability, that's when I say, "That's what lock-up converters are for."

I wouldn't go lower than 3200 on the converter or eventually you will just be kicking yourself.

My SS3600 is tight enough it seems very tame at part throttle even in a heavier car than most fbodies. On the highway it drives like stock of course since it locks up.

I dd an ss3600 and its a great converter and very tight for what it is, I wouldn't go any lower personally.

Exactly. A SS3600 will drive like what most people would expect from a 2500 converter...until you really hammer on it, then it comes alive and the car will fricking move.

So a 228r with a 3600 would be pretty good? I just don't wanna regret not going bigger. What gains can I see with that setup and cnc z06 heads?

Mine's on a 111 and I love it, but it's not exactly the v2. Just the same specs on a grind from Comp.

Is there much of a difference with lsa? Isn't lower lsa more for top end? I'm sorry I don't know too much about cams

I think you would be more upset if you over cammed your car. I vote for the 228R but the TV2 is a great choice as well. I almost ran that cam.
