The Vic Jr. by design works better on 6.0 and larger with 230-240 size cams
That's a real general statement to be making.

A 230-240 duration cam can have a wide range of power bands and make it's peak power in different locations depending on LSA and ICL.

The dual plane has by far worse fuel distribution than the single planes do and on nitrous he doesn't need any lean or overly rich cylinders that could be caused by a dual plane.

Even though it's a 5.3 a single plane will work fine on it.

I will say it being a carb I would like to see more overlap in the profile to boost signal so that the carb can meter the incoming air properly and give the engine the right amount of fuel.

Will they work? Yes....will they be 100% perfect for your combination, maybe...maybe not. Best thing to do is measure and then order them, but the 7.4s will work.

The dual plane will absolutely have a better Vac signal on a carb especially
since it's only 325 inches AND low static compression. With him only spraying
a 100 shot he'd be fine. One of the greatest features of the LS architecture
is the long runner intake/head combo. Air pumps adhere to the laws of
physics and theres no denying that Edelbrock designed the victor line of IN.
manifolds for larger sized cams, higher rpms, forced induction apps., and in
most cases RACING. All very generalized and yet true..
