I dont have those mods, nor have i built one yet. But from my research ive seen people with slightly larger cams that get 15-22 mpg.

I got a similar setup and I get 20 on the highway and 15 in town, it could be better but all I have is a mail order tune so I'm sure it could be better

Thanks for the reply. I must have some issues. Maybe O2 sensors. I'm only getting around 11 to 12 City with driving normal.

There are a lot of things that can negatively affect mileage besides the O2's.

Driving habits are the biggest. If you romp on it a bit, or even accelerate fast and do in town driving, I would say your mileage may not be that far off from where it should be with your setup.

Here are a few other things to check that will make a difference on mlieage;

Oil change
Tire pressure
Fuel filter change (this one is often overlooked and can be big if not done regularly)
Air filter
Spark plugs

I get bottom teens in town and just shy of 20mpg highway. An fbody should be a tad better due to weight and aero advantages

A big issue that a lot of stalled cars over look as well is converter lock up timing. I had my 4,000 stall set to lock up at 35mph. That made a big difference. The only downside that I had for it locking up so early was the converter would unlock at around 50 mph & would lock back up around 52 or 53 if I was driving normally. A small price to pay for big gains in city driving. Plus after a little bit you don't even notice it anymore.

I set my converter lockup to 50mph. The annoyance of the lower speed behavior outweighed the possible economy gains to me.

I would like to hit Mokan again as soon as they start running Sundays, Friday nights is too much of a pain.

Yeah did all that already. I will clean the Maf and also change out the O2 sensor tomorrow. The O2's have never been changed. I bought the Denso O2 sensors today so I'm hoping that helps out a little bit. LOL

I do great on the highway. 23-24mpg. Around town. Well I play with it a bit so the gas guage pulls back pretty quick. But if I can manage to keep my foot out of it it does ok.
