Shhhhh....some of those CF guys sneak over here sometimes......

Sorry to get cranky as well. Stressful at work (layoffs in the air) and way too much caffene. So apologize for snapping bout all that.

So we are good!

I have had a tough time in general living down the vette thing. It's very odd.

Take it easy

Ron

Nothing wrong with a vette, just the majority of owners are idiots. That's why they have a bad name.

I can't tell you how many older people have told me how much better their ls1 is than mine because it's in the vette. Or the ones that think the ls engine is specific to the vette and all camaro's have lt1's and are so much slower. I'd hate to bust their bubble with the GMHTP article that proved the 98 transam put down more at the wheels than the vette. Lol

It is just a cultural difference guys. Guys that can afford Vettes at an early age are in general not used to work on their cars. They are used to have things done for them.
I've owned a few vettes but my first was after I turned 40. So please do not stereotype.

not stereotyping, just an observation. Young to old, I've noticed this. Not all vette owners are idiots, but the ones that argue things like my post above...are.

I guess technically speaking, it is the vette engine since that's the first thing the ls landed in. But whatever.
