Sounds like an air pocket in the cooling system, flush it and see what happens! Unless I'm reading it wrong, what does your temp gauge say?

Hmmmm... Not sure I definitely thought it is air in the system and its not over heating. I would also think you would know if you put the gaskets on the wrong way. Not sure man

Your not leaking water anywhere correct? Just blowing out of the radiator?? Does it stop blowing the water out if you let it run for a while? Or does it do it immediately? It could realistically on,y be a couple things for the cooling system I.e coolant temp sensor, thermostat, radiator (air pocket), and water pump

u turn your heater on to get that air pocket out? You squeeze some of the air out of the hoses while the cap is off?

Didn't ask because I figured he rebuilt the motor then this would be common sense....I'm still leaning towards an air pocket. Let us know

Before you do any of listed above get yourself a new radiator cap, I know some might think its crazy, but I have seen countless cooling problems solved by a new rad cap. It is the cheapest route at like 7-10 dollars to eliminate, its worth a shot. The springs in the cap lose tension and it allows coolant to blow past it. Just my 2 hope you get it fixed.

That is a great tip, that's why I asked if it is doing it all the time or after it warms up! We need more info!!

I changed the cap and still blowns out under the cap and comes out of the overflow. And when it cold and i leave the cap off and i go to start it blows a big stream out the radiator . Its got to b the head gasket wouldnt you think. I hope not but my lucksucks. Thanks everyone for the ideas.
