Default which cam ?

i know there might be a bunch of threads with this similar question but i recently bought another f body .. 98 ws6 trans am with 3.73s, ls6 intake,lid, LT headers,ORY , and a bullet, 3600 stall .. i was thinking of adding a cam... which cam do u guys recommend? thanks

What are your overall plans?

What is your budget?

I would do some research and look at what both your current and future goals are going to be. There's quite a few of cars with similar setups to your's (hence one being my car). I love my torquer v3, but I would consider it a little more on the 'aggressive' side. Calling a vendor with your plans will get you pointed in the right direction as well.

228r. You could even go a little bigger since you have gears in the car.

I'm in the same boat. I've had two cams spec'd and I am still undecided My problem is I want MS4 or TRex sound but want 228R or similar performance..

Use a Crane #1449601 for your setup.

I have the 228R and it sounds crazy at idle. No low end loss here.
