I wouldn't think it's that big a deal unless unless you do some seriously early staging and sit on the rev limiter while the other guy is doin a burnout...

Only thing a 2 step does is takes the spark out of the equation at the desired RPM you set it at. Yes if you sit there and let it bounce off at 6K for 5 minutes then yes you could damage or wear out parts but just doing it at the strip while launching isn't hurting it anymore than you already are by beating on it at the strip!

I wouldn't worry about anything. Just don't stay on it to long. I usually hold mine at the most of 8-10 secs & i'm set at 3k for street launches.

Looks like your drivetrain is ready for it. Shouldn't be a problem..

I recently bought a Lingenfelter 2 step from a member here in LS1 Tech, he said he had no problems with the 2 step on his Camaro at all. I plan on installing the 2 step once my car is almost done getting built. My engine builder Eber at SXT PERFORMANCE has a 2 step also on his 1,1** RWHP truck, dont remember the brand but he said he feels no difference at launch, but it hasnt caused him problems either.
