What would you do? advice needed

Default What would you do? advice needed

So right now I have a stock bottom end ls1 in my 99 camaro, med cam, weiand ls6 polished intake, stall 3500 rpms trans gm ported 6.0 heads.

It has a ton of passes on it into the mid to hi 11s, I yanked the motor to build up the bottom end and update valve train.

I want a bit more power...here is what im thinking...looking for at least a 10.90 setup.

option 1: Build bottom end up with strong internals, new pistons, rods etc..all new valve springs etc...slightly bigger came and add a fast intake to the mix.

Option 2 : all of the above and stroke it with a 383 storker kit and new crank


Option 3: both 1 and 2 and pro charge it. I really want to get a procharger. I understand comp needs to be low and a blower cam is a must...so if Im going to procharge what should I eliminate from the first two options to maximize the procharger setup.

all it takes is money. if all you want is a 10.9 you dont need to add any power adder. a different cam, fast intake, dyno tune may get you there

money is no issue...i think your right a 10.90 could be hit just doing that..but i wana really try a power adder...so just trying to see what motor seup would be best with a PC...evey one here has been saying dont stroke it, build up bottom end, forged internals, get a good size blower cam. keep ls6 intake and just upgrade fuel system with a PC

ppl seem to think stroking it first wont gain me much more than the 346 and will cost much more cash

10.90 was just a minimum but sounds like thatll be no problem with a PC
