I have a nearly identical setup - similar heads, same cam, intake and converter. I've sprayed a 100 shot and it picked up just fine, no track times though. I got greedy and tried a 150 and the converter hated it.

This is a very well thought out set-up, and I believe it will make every bit of 450rwhp through the 60e if not a touch more.

Man this thing is going to make some serious power and will haul ***!

With your changes in compression and port matching the Fast I'm going to have to add another 10rwhp to my claim of 450rwhp and it might make more than that.

Here is a graph of James Short LS1 Camaro. He has TEA stage 2 heads and a 235/243 112+3 or 112+4 camshaft in his, 1x7/8" headers and a Fast 102. He does have 4" intake tubing also.

His dyno also reads about 8-12% lower than a Dyno Jet so you could take that into account if you like.

Yeah in a M6 that's a combo that would knock on the door of 500rwhp.

Id like to suggest a high pressure over high volume pump.

I've talked to John briefly. I'll see if he can do SD tune. That'll help a bit with the cam and make good power.

And Erik Koenig recommends the high pressure pump. That's enough for me.

Also the 3800 will be good for the 150 shot I plan to spay on top (next round of mods is an HKE forged 348, RPM built 4L60E, and MWC 9" with a 200+ shot).

damn man for the kind of money you're gonna spend you could swap a ls3 in the car and make within 20 whp of that hc combo but with only headers and a tune. fast 102 would only make more.

good luck though.

i wouldnt run a SD with your setup, i made the mistake of doing it and hated every min of it, 3 top tuners around here told me to go back to MAF tune with my big cam 408 and it drives and feels 1000times better, my motor will be at around 650rwhp with spray and maf tune

imho unless you have a track only car i wouldnt run a SD tune, i know people making 1000rwhp with maf tune.... again this is just my .02

LS3 swap would cost a lot more. If you take the fuel, intake, and exhaust out of the equation, the price for heads and cam is less than LS3. Even a used one.

And SD tunes are sort of hit or miss. I'd either do stock MAF or no MAF.

in a nut shell its a head/cam car with supporting mods, no reason to mess with SD-tune. better to keep the MAF-tune and be done with it

for every one person i know that likes SD i know 5 that dont lol

I think a good SD tune with a large cam will always be the way to go, but that said we've tuned some pretty large cams in closed loop with no problem. I think it all comes down to what the tuner of the vehicle is comfortable with.

Mine runs perfect and I have no problems with my 239/246 in a ls2 and a 4k converter
