We definitely recommend swapping out to the LS2 trays when replacing lifters.

Sounds like a lifter to me. Mine sounded exactly the same way when one of my lifters took a dump. Good luck.

Well, finally got the valve cover off to take a look at the rockers and found a needle bearing took a dump. Ended up breaking the cage that holds the needle bearings in place. (please forgive if the lingo is incorrect). Ill post a pic of two as soon as i can. What would be the best course of action for me now? Replace the one bearing that took a dump or do a full trunion upgrade? Thanks in advance!

Mine is getting louder. The guy I go to, checked it out and the noise gets really loud above 2000 RPMS. We are going to pull the valvecovers soon. The car is going to sit till then. I'm hoping that just something broke up top, don't want to tear deeper into the motor.

Get the comp trunion kit. Very easy to install if you have a vice. Read the directions. Make sure to put the new bearings in the correct way. Problem solved.
