Lifter Tray Bolt Missing
Lifter Tray Bolt Missing So, I'm piecing things back together and I'm missing one of the four lifter tray bolts. Great, right? Kinda frustrating. Does anyone have any idea if I can get one local? I live in a decent sized city with places like Home Depot, Lowe's, Advanced Auto Parts, Napa, Auto Zone, etc easily accessible. I'd like to pick this up locally as opposed to having to order yet another part online. Trying to get this project done soon..

I recommend grabbing one of your other lifter tray bolts up and running down to some of those local parts stores and see if you can match something up. Hopefully you'll get lucky and one of the autoparts stores will actually have a replacement bolt to make it simple.

When I pulled my lifter trays a few months ago, the bolt seems press down on the tray...A pic would help.
The bolt has a spacer built in so it tightens against the block before it locks the plastic down. This lets the lifter center the guide while the bolt keeps it from rising up. You need the bolt GM supplies if you replace it, or make a proper spacer.

Its just a metric shoulder bolt, nothing special
Dealer will be easiest, fastenal or McMaster would suffice as well, given the people behind the counter are not incompetent like those working around here
