How much to mill 243's with MS3?
Putting together a 5.3L for my 89 Mustang Coupe. I've talked to Matt@Texas Speed about a couple of cams, but I found a good deal on a low mileage MS3 cam and picked it up. Today I picked up a set of 243's to put on the motor.
I've read till my eyes crossed and haven't found a solid answer. My questions is how much can I mill the 243's if I'm running the MS3 on my stock LM7? I know the PTV will need to be checked when it goes together, but trying to see if there is anyone running this combo, or someone that give me more info. Thanks!!

Car will definitely not be a daily driver. Just a "toy". It will be driven on the street some, but not a lot. Mainly weekend cruising and cruise nights. Will be at the track as much as I can.

I'd do something like a 235/243 108+4 then with that intake. You'll have to flycut the pistons, but then you can mill the heads as much as you like.
Victor requires different camshaft valve events compared to a FAST. It likes overlap and a much earlier intake closing point.

Actually, EPS has a shelf ready cam for those types of intakes:

236/248 108. That'd rock.
