valvetrain tick So in a previous thread..

So after i pulled the valve covers the first time i found that i had broken two of the caps that hold the rocker bearings in place and managed to send the little needle bearings and other scrap metal all over the inside of the head. I did what i could to find all of the pieces and parts but needless to say i am sure there are more in my oil pan and since i dont have a place where i can drop the motor, I'm hoping that changing the oil a few times will be enough to "fix" that problem.
I decided to go with a trunion upgrade when i found the damage and in the process of pulling the rest of the rockers off i found more damage. Two of my valves are damaged and four of the pushrods on the left side of the motor have weird scrapes that look like they were contacting the inside of the head. Crazy thing is that all 4 of the damaged rods were on the intake valves of each cylinder.
I have attached some pictures showing the types of damage because i have never seen anything like this on the pushrods.
Any ideas how this kind of thing can happen? WHat can i do to fix it? Prevent it? I need all sorts of help right now.
